At summer camp, there is always something for campers to do. A typical day at summer camp consists of breakfast, six activity periods spread out throughout the day, lunch, mail and rest period, dinner, and special evening activities before bed. Campers spend every day learning, thinking, moving, and having a great time. One of the best things about Camp Blue Ridge is all of the options that campers have. First off, campers choose from over forty different summer camp activities. Every camper gets to choose from aquatic, athletic, outdoor adventure, and art activities to add to their schedule. Next, we offer a ton of cool off-campus field trips for children to choose from! No matter a camper’s age, he or she can join in on a trip! These trips include white water rafting, climbing and boulder expeditions, Six Flags Over Georgia, and White Water Park in Marietta! We like to give our campers the freedom to choose what they want to do at summer camp and that’s the best way to guarantee they have a great summer. It’s basically impossible for children to not have a good time at summer camp, especially at Camp Blue Ridge. With all of the new friends and memories that children will make, they will want to come back every single summer, and there is nothing wrong with that!
